How does voting work?

After Squad Plan makes your three plans, tap Send to my group to get one link. Friends open it, read Plan A, Plan B and Plan C, and tap the one they like. You see the votes come in live. When you're ready, stop the vote and the winning plan is shown to everyone.

Do my friends need an account to vote?

No. Anyone with the link can vote, no sign-up needed. Only the person making the plans needs a free account. Voters can add their first name if they want, or vote without one.

How many plans can I make for free?

Free accounts can make 5 plan sets a week, and each set has three plans to vote on. Your plans left are shown at the top of the screen, and your account page shows when the next one comes back.

What is Squad Plan Plus, and why does it say coming soon?

Plus will cost US$4.99 a month and adds unlimited plans, adding plans to your calendar, telling the planner your needs (like no stairs or a budget), and rating your day so future plans fit your group better. It is not for sale yet, so no payment is taken anywhere on the site today.

What if a place in my plan is closed?

Places come from OpenStreetMap, and some may have closed or changed hours. On your plan, tap Closed? next to the place to report it. Once three different people report the same place, Squad Plan leaves it out of future plans. Always check opening hours before you go.

Which cities does Squad Plan cover?

Cities and towns in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Small towns with only a few mapped places can feel thin, so pick the nearest bigger city if your plans look sparse.

Who can use Squad Plan?

You need to be 13 or older to make an account. To sign up, enter your first name and email and confirm you are 13+, then tap the link in the verify email and choose your password. Kids can still come along on a plan: tell the planner who's coming and it adjusts. Bars, pubs and clubs only appear when everyone in the group is 21 or older.

How do I delete my account?

Email hello@squadplan.co from the address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. Your account, plans and votes are removed. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
