Squad Plan Subscription Terms

These Subscription terms are part of our Terms of Service. They apply to Squad Plan Plus, the paid subscription offered by Squad Plan ("we", "us").

Plus is coming soon and is not on sale yet. The terms below describe how Plus will work when it launches.

1. What you get

Squad Plan Plus gives you:

  • unlimited plans;
  • "Make it yours" customization: plan detail level, what the plan means to you, and your needs such as budget or accessibility;
  • the option to add plans to your calendar;
  • reviews of your outings (stars, what went well, what could be better, and places to skip) that shape your next plans.

2. Price

  • Plus costs US$4.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes.
  • The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • People who sign up before Plus launches are called "Founding members." We may offer Founding members a loyalty price. This is not a promise of any specific price or discount.

3. Automatic renewal

  • Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
  • Each renewal charges the monthly price shown at the time of renewal, plus applicable taxes, to the payment method you gave Stripe.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to buy a subscription.
  • If you are 13 to 17, you may buy a subscription only with your parent's or guardian's permission, and only using their payment method.

4. Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. You can open it from your Account page.
  • If you cancel, your paid features stay available until the end of the monthly period you have already paid for. After that, your account goes back to the free plan.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not give you a refund for the period you have already started.

5. Refunds

  • We do not give partial-month refunds.
  • We will give a refund where the law requires one.
  • If you think you were charged by mistake, contact hello@squadplan.co and we will look into it.

6. Price changes

  • We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you in advance by email or in the app, before the new price applies to your subscription.
  • If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

7. Free plan limits

The free plan includes 5 plans per week. We may change the free limits. If we make a change that reduces what free users get, we will tell you in advance.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may pause your paid features until the payment is fixed. Stripe may try the payment again. Please keep your payment details up to date in the billing portal.

9. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase. The price may include or exclude tax depending on where you live. The total is shown at checkout.
